Fundación Canal is pleased to present the exhibition, “Alice in Wonderland by Dalí, Ernst, Laurencin & Tenniel.” Based on Lewis Carroll’s immortal piece, it shows work by Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst, and Marie Laurencin. The exhibition also has a plentiful sampling of stamps from the original illustrations by John Tenniel for the novel’s first edition in 1865, the two pioneering films based on the publication, and the short film “Destino,” by Walt Disney and Salvador Dalí, which premiered in 2003.
Explore the most interesting aspects of the Fundación Canal exhibition “Alice in Wonderland by Dalí, Ernst, Laurencin & Tenniel” from home and learn in a fun way about interesting facts such as Alice’s influence on topics as diverse as surrealist art, mathematical games, and current science. The video also includes a workshop in which, in the style of the surrealists, who used chance and randomness to create their works, we will learn how to create fun illustrations using coffee stains.
Recommended for ages 6 to 12, to be done at home at any time.
Fundación Canal offers tours through the Fundación’s team of guides, trained by experts in Art History, so guests can learn about the exhibition in a comprehensive way.
