Fundación Canal’s facilities are available to residents who need shelter from high temperatures during summer months, offering comfort from the heat, a fountain with cool water, a rest area, free WiFi, and an outlet to charge mobiles and other devices. This means that people whose homes or offices are not well protected from the heat, travellers waiting for the bus at Plaza Castilla, or residents who are walking around the area under high temperatures, can take shelter from the heat and have a pleasant rest inside the Fundación.
What is more, those who wish to make visit the exhibition “Madrid: crónica creativa de los 80 (Madrid: a creative chronicle of the 80s)” for free.
With this initiative, Fundación Canal seeks to honour its commitment to mitigating climate change.
