For years, the workshops that Fundación Canal provides to children aged 6 through 12 have offered an invitation to discover the world around us through ingenious experiments that teach about science and the environment.
They stimulate your curiosity to learn more about water and its inestimable value, its properties, and today’s environmental events, through scientific experiences to have fun while you learn.
This year, we are offering two events you won’t want to miss out on.

QUANTUM TRACKERS. DISCOVER THE LIGHT
We are celebrating that 2025 is the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology by discovering the most fascinating properties of light. We will carry out fun experiments with waves and particles to learn how light travels and a few of its properties, like diffraction and fluorescence. We will even look for Schrödinger’s cat!

ASTROBIOLOGY. IN SEARCH OF LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE
We delve into the origins of life on Earth, as well as signs of life beyond our planet. In this participatory workshop, we discover the first single-cell beings, the microscopic life in a drop of water, and how craters were formed by the impacts from meteorites. We also accompany NASA’s Curiosity Rover on its missions to Mars in search of water.
