The Berlin Wall measured 155 kilometers, 43 of which served as the border between East and West Berlin. For 10,860 days, it divided the German capital, the country, and the world. It stood as the visible symbol of the Cold War until November 9, 1989. Now, an essential exhibition arrives in Madrid at our Castellana 214 gallery, offering insights into the different perspectives of experiences lived on each side through over 300 original items, including wall fragments, archival material, and numerous testimonies from direct witnesses of the divided Berlin.
