For World Water Day, Fundación Canal is bringing together experts on climate change adaptation strategies for a professional workshop to share progress in the Community of Madrid, as well as innovative measures in the water sector developed by the Canal de Isabel II.
Additionally, conclusions will be shared from the study “Identificación de tecnologías y soluciones innovadoras de adaptación al cambio climático (Identification of Innovative Solutions and Technologies for Adaptation to Climate Change),” drawn up by the Eurecat Foundation for Fundación Canal, with Canal de Isabel II’s collaboration. This study sets forth over 120 specific strategies and solutions for adaptation in very different sectors, such as water, agriculture, town planning and construction, health, and early warning systems.
