THE EXHIBITION

Fundación Canal presents the exhibition Game On. La historia del videojuego 1972-2020 (Game On. The History of the Video Game 1972-2020), the greatest collection on the history and culture of video games. For the first time in Spain, and in collaboration with the Barbican Centre of London, the exhibition will be available in Madrid from 29 November through 31 May in the Paseo de la Castellana 214 exhibition hall.

Spanning 2,500 square metres of exhibition space, 15 thematic sections travel through the fascinating history of video games, beginning in the 70s and continuing up to the most recent creations. Game On is also an exhibition to “watch and play,” with over 150 playable games, from Mario to Lara Croft and from Pong to Street Fighter.

With a spectacular exhibition design based on sustainability standards, Game On is designed for all audiences to enjoy: people who want to play, those who are nostalgic for the past, or just the merely curious. For all ages.
