A Second Look

DESCRIPTION

We are pleased to invite you to take a second look at the Plaza de Castilla raised tank, one of the most unique places in the city.

Volver a mirar (A Second Look) is a large-scale video installation by photographer and visual artist Rosa Muñoz, who brings a contemporary reinterpretation of the space, fragmenting its architecture and rebuilding it through video art. This transformative artistic project is an invitation to stop, to observe from a different perspective, and to rediscover this symbol of urban heritage.

A journey between the visible and the suggested, where architecture, light, and movement engage in dialogue with the viewer. An interplay of shapes and perceptions that connects us with water, space, and time.

A one-of-a-kind opportunity to discover the interior of one of Madrid’s architectural icons, exceptionally available for tours while the installation is open to the public.

This event falls under the Fundación’s special programming for theCanal de Isabel II’s 175th anniversary and Fundación Canal’s 25th anniversary.
