Fundación Canal is celebrating its 18th birthday. Which is why, over the course of this year, we have prepared interesting cultural and environmental activities to celebrate our coming-of-age with you.

Springtime is here and we all want to go out to the countryside and enjoy nature, so we have organised an interesting guided route with two dates to choose from. It follows the Meaques arroyo (Manzanares River) of Madrid. The tour is led by experts in different fields related to water, architecture, botany, fauna and civil engineering. We will discover astonishing and unknown historical, sociocultural, environmental, landscape and architectural aspects related to Madrid’s water heritage. Both routes end with an acoustic musical performance.
