ANDY WARHOL. POP IN ART AND LIFE

Patrick Moore was the director of The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh from 2017 to 2024. Previously, he served as deputy director of the museum, where he began working in 2011. Before that, he had spent ten years at the Alliance for the Arts in New York. He currently resides in Madrid and works as Director of Culture at Panarae Partnership Limited, a company operating in the UK, the Middle East, and North Africa.  In this role, he organised the first London edition of the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. 

Moore studied Theatre Directing and English Literature at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He is the author of several books and has published articles in The Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Philadelphia Inquirer, The New York Times, Newsday, and The Advocate.

Javier Díaz-Guardiola is a Madrid-based journalist and writer specialising in cultural reporting. Throughout his career, he has contributed to various media outlets, focusing on art criticism and cultural analysis.  He is widely recognised for his ability to contextualise artistic movements in a clear and accessible manner. 

Currently, he is the coordinator of ABC Cultural and editor-in-chief of ABCdeARCO, the official magazine of Madrid’s contemporary art fair.  He also writes the contemporary art and architecture blog Siete de un golpe . In addition to contributing to numerous books, he has written exhibition catalogues and curated many of the exhibitions himself. 

En la actualidad es coordinador de ABC Cultural y redactor-jefe de ABC de ARCO, la revista oficial de la feria de arte contemporáneo de Madrid. También es autor del blog de arte contemporáneo y arquitectura Siete de un golpe. Ha participado en la escritura de diversos libros y también es autor de numerosos catálogos para exposiciones, muchas de las cuales también ha comisariado.
