The Counselor for Environment, Agriculture, and Interior of the Community of Madrid and President of the Board of Trustees of the Canal de Isabel II Foundation, Carlos Novillo, participated this morning in the inauguration of the Canal Educa course with a visit to the El Atazar dam, accompanying a group of 4th-year high school students from the Caude school in Majadahonda.
The visit to this Canal de Isabel II facility, which was also attended by the Deputy Counselor for Educational Policy of the Community of Madrid, Ignacio Martín, and the Director-General of Concerted Education, Jorge Elías de la Peña, along with Fernando Arlandis, Deputy to the CEO of Canal de Isabel II, Belén Benito, Director of Operations, José Luis Fernández Quejo, Manager of the Public Entity Canal de Isabel II, and the Director-General of the Canal Foundation, Eva Tormo, is part of the educational offerings of the Canal Educa program on sustainable water use. In its proposed activities, it also includes other environmental awareness and STEM-related content.
