The executive director of Canal de Isabel II and Vice President of the Board of Fundación Canal, Mariano González, presented the Rutas del Agua Multimedia (Multimedia Water Routes), project at El Pontón de la Oliva (Patones de Abajo, Madrid). This innovative initiative by Fundación Canal is an invitation to explore the region’s environmental heritage, especially linked to the integrated water cycle, through new technologies.
To this end, he explored part of the route provided by the Rutas del Agua Multimedia app, which features multimedia content that provides valuable and complementary information on water heritage, local flora and fauna, and the history of the area. The app helps users to discover local biodiversity and river ecosystems, highlighting the significant work of Canal de Isabel II, which promotes the development and comprehensive transformation of the capital and the region through water.
