This study, by Fundación Canal, was prepared by a team of researchers from the School of Road, Canal and Port Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid and with the participation of Canal de Isabel II. The study introduces a selection of good practises for modelling droughts and floods such that they can be used in multiple fields, including water planning, water resource management, research, and technological development.
