It includes full-page and two-page spreads with a broad selection of the photographs from the exhibition. The images feature texts by Javier Ortiz-Echagüe, curator of the collection, providing further in-depth information on this exhibition on Charles Clifford, mid-19th century photography, and the great changes that took place in Madrid at the time, with a special focus on construction of the Canal de Isabel II. This canal made it possible for water to reach Madrid and for the city to enter into the modern age. The publication provides a comprehensive list of works in the exhibition.
