Fundación Canal presents Volver a Mirar (A Second Look), an artistic intervention by photographer and visual artist Rosa Muñoz to take a second look and discover the raised tank in Plaza de Castilla, under the special programme scheduled for 2026 to commemorate the 175th anniversary of Canal de Isabel II and the 25th anniversary of Fundación Canal.
The artist proposes a contemporary reinterpretation of the space through a video installation inside one of Madrid’s architectural icons, exceptionally available for tours while the installation is open to the public.
Moreover, to celebrate the anniversary, Fundación Canal is offering a very special gift: an original photograph by Rosa Muñoz. The artist has created a photograph version of the video installation Volver a mirar, which you can download in high resolution from the webpage, ready to be printed in high quality.
