Fundación Canal has ended the exhibition Arte Urbano. De los orígenes a Banksy (Urban Art. From Its Origins to Banksy), which was available at the Mateo Inurria 2 Hall from 12 February through 26 July 2026. It hosted 103,742 visitors, of which 85,870 came in person, with another 17,872 visiting the exhibition virtually.
The collection gathered over 60 pieces by some of the most prominent artists in national and international urban art, setting visitors on a journey through the movement’s evolution, from its origins until modern times.
Curated by Patrizia Cattaneo Moresi, the tour was laid out in five chronological sections, along with a monograph devoted to Banksy, a key figure for understanding the media and symbolic impact of this discipline in the 21st century.
The exhibition was complemented by a programme of educational activities, digital contents, tours, workshops, and conferences for all audiences, as well as the artistic action of SUSO33, the result of which will remain at the entrance to the Fundación until next 20 September.
