Canal Educa (Canal Educates), the educational programme by Fundación Canal and Canal de Isabel II, turns 35 years old in 2026. It is kicking off the 2026-2027 school year with activities intended for all educational levels, from Infantil to Bachillerato and Special Education.
This educational project combines activities in the classroom and tours of Canal de Isabel II’s comprehensive water cycle management facilities with educational resources, turning environmental contents into learning experiences adapted to all ages. This time around, these contents are going back to activity in Hospital Wings.
This new school year begins after the participation in 2025-2026 of 63,206 students and teachers from 418 different schools, with a total of 2,872 sessions held in 76 municipalities of the Community of Madrid, where educators gave the programme an average score of 4.9 out of 5.
